The Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine is now offering grant writing support for community groups, non profits, and businesses in the Village of Hazelton and surrounding communities.

How does it work?

Step 1: If you have a project or idea, your first step is to get in touch with RDKS Economic Development to discuss if it’s an idea that is supportable with grant funding. Email is preferred, but you can also call 250-615-6100.

Step 2: After you have spoken with the Economic Development Officer, you can complete the Grant Writing Support Form.

Step 3: If your project/idea and organization meet some basic eligibility requirements, you will be put in touch with the community grant writer who will work with you to identify funding opportunities, write your grant, and submit it on time.
