The Village of Hazelton is accepting applications for summer work. Two positions are available, and run until August 28th. This position is a great way to get experience working for a local government, and allows you to work with a great team in beautiful Hazelton, BC.
Summer workers may be assigned to:
- Park Maintenance;
- Tourism and Visitor Information;
- Coordination of Special Events., i.e. Pioneer Day; and
- Other office and maintenance duties as assigned.
Preferred applicants must:
- Hold a valid BC drivers licence (Class 5 or 7)
- Be willing to work weekends and flexible hours;
- Be available to work until September 1st; and
- Have a good understanding of Hazelton and surrounding area
Preference will be given to students able to confirm enrolment in high school or a post-secondary program in the fall of 2023, but the position is open to all applicants.
